How to use a circle chart
Start with the inside of the build, not the outside. Decide whether the circle needs to hold a ladder, spiral stair, storage wall, beacon, villagers or a wide entrance. Then choose a diameter that still leaves usable space after the walls are added.
Use an outline first when you are testing a footprint in survival. It lets you walk the planned base and check the entrance before spending materials on a filled floor or a thick wall. If the space works, use the generator to calculate the final material total.
Odd or even diameter?
Odd diameters such as 15×15 and 21×21 have one exact centre block. They are useful for centred doors, beacons, stairs and roof peaks. Even diameters such as 16×16 or 64×64 are centred between blocks and use a 2×2 guide. They can work well for double doors, wide paths and split-axis interiors.
Use large charts differently
For a small circle, a visual grid is enough. For a huge build, a giant chart becomes difficult to read on a phone.
